DRIVER EDUCATION 

Students with a birthday on or before August 1, 1997 are eligible to take Driver Education during the Spring Sessions.   Applications may be picked up at the front office and are due by February 17, 2012, for the second session.  Your birthday must be on or before December 31, 1997 in order to register for the Summer Sessions. Summer registration begins April 2, 2012.  30 classroom hours and 6 behind-the-wheel hours are required by the State of North Carolina.  There are no excused & unexcused absences.  Students who start the course and do not complete the course will not be allowed to register again with Cumberland County Schools.  Students are required to pay a $45 fee in the form of a certified check or money order to participate in the course.  Personal checks are NOT accepted.  The fee will be collected on the first day of class.
